Open Community Day $15.00 entry (Note: for three day conference participants, entry fee is included in the ticket price) Grandmother Bilawara Lee Lynn Guy Lucy Cavendish Anique Radiant Heart Workshops offer: 11am ~ 12.30pm Jane Meredith ~ Women Only: THE ROLE OF THE FEMININE IN SACRED MARRIAGE Within Sacred Marriage the roles of the Feminine and Masculine are equal. Yet we live in a society where equality is rarely granted to women or the feminine. What does Sacred Marriage mean to us, in our lives and in our relationships? Is it possible to bring our whole selves – sacred, powerful, loving and free – into modern relationships and what are the implications of this? How can Sacred Marriage be enacted in the absence of a committed and/or heterosexual relationship? This workshop will be experiential and involve discussion, ritual and inner reflection. . It will be fully participative, supportive and held in safe space. Beau Raven: http://tosilence.webs.com Men Only: 11am ~ 12.30 pm A ‘Rite of Passage’ for men to rejoin and rejoice in true union with the Mother of us all. Beau is deeply committed to the revival of essential Rites of Passage in contemporary society and views the re-honouring of men as they make the transition from adolescence to manhood as a vital aspect of ‘revisioning’ the failings of mainstream society. “Without such rites of passage, boys enter into manhood feeling unacknowledged by their community. This promotes a lack of consciousness and respect for the boundaries of socially acceptable behaviour in society that reverberates through their actions for the rest of their lives. There is little honouring of the divinity of womanhood … the way of The Goddess and her consort … now is the time to reawaken the Sunlords.” - Beau |

CONCURRENT WORKSHOPS:These are one and a quarter hour ONLY finished by 3pm 1. Dede Callichy This WORKSHOP is NOW FULL MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS; THE SACRED LINEAGE For aeons mothers have puzzled over how to best bring the mysteries of becoming women to their pubescent daughters in a delicate and creative way. This sensitive workshop explores the stages of womanhood and the flow from one life stage into the next. Its imagery includes the four elements, seasons, stages of a woman’s journey and the mystery of moon-blood. The workshop leads to a deepening of the bond between mothers and daughters. Participants journey to a profound acknowledgement and acceptance of the Divine Feminine in themselves and take from the workshop a joyful trust and confidence in their own femininity and future as a woman. The Mantle of Sacred Women’s Power is transmitted to the pubescent generation. With the ritual permission is granted to embody all the roles of the Divine Feminine, to acknowledge and express the Priestess Within 2. Jane Hardwicke Collings janecollings@bigpond.com www.moonsong.com.au HEALING FROM PREVIOUS BIRTH EXPERIENCE In a sacred space you will have the opportunity to explore and express the wounding you may have experienced from a previous birth experience – miscarriage, abortion, caesarean section, instrumental delivery, unexpected outcome. Visiting the five flames of the Sacred Temple – Voice, Truth, Self Love, Dedication and Maturity we will ask how does this serve? And see that the wound reveals the cure leading us further on our journey to feminine wholeness. 3 Tess Elliott - THE VOICE; SHEELAGH-NA-GIG ~Ancient Whore of the Celts “I am an ancient deity, honoured by the indigenous people of Ireland thousands of eons before Christianity came to the island in the 5th century………….Sheelagh –Na-Gig was the symbol of Mother Earth, sacred and honored, revered and “The Voice” for all – Mother Earth and her children. In honoring Sheelagh –Na –Gig at each seasonal point in the landscape, only “The Truth” was spoken, was heard, was felt or was simply seen.” 4 Barbara Sheehy— This WORKSHOP is NOW FULL OCEANIA MAGIK Oceania Magik seeks to encourage the goddess within each and every individual in a loving embrace of celebration and from the heart centre. Jane Meredith PRIESTESS OF LIGHT, PRIESTESS OF DARK As a priestess, as a woman and as a human on this earth, you are part of the eternal dance of Light and Dark. Priestessing the bright, outward path of work, relationships and society is complemented by Priestessing the mysterious, inward path of dreams, magic and the other realms. Recognise your own natural, or default position and take some steps towards its balance. Moving beyond polarities, in this ritual both aspects will be recognised, honoured and integrated. |

CONCURRENT WORKSHOPS:These are one and a quarter hour ONLY finished by 3pm 1. Lynne Sinclair-Wood “JOURNEY OF A GRAIL MAIDEN” This WORKSHOP is NOW FULL I love this term “Grail Maiden” for a woman of power in European culture. She appears in Arthurian and Holy Grail stories when the Grail Knight needs to be guided or challenged. Caitlin Matthews suggests that “The sacred relationship of the Quester (the Grail Knight) and the Priestess of the Mysteries (Grail Maiden) is one of the most profound mysteries of the Grail” There has been a lot of emphasis on the ‘Hero’ journey of the Grail Knight but not much attention on the women he interacts with on his journey, who in fact are the agents of his transformation at each stage, enabling him in the end to achieve the Grail. Often it is a woman who guards the Grail and winning the woman is part of the deal. Nimue, Dindraine, “Loathsome Ladies’ - Dame Ragnel and Kundry, Morgan le Fay, Elaine, Lunedd, Elen of the Pathways, to name but a few, embody the ancient wisdom of knowing our place in the pattern of all life within sacred land, the natural world and cosmic forces. These stories and their characters have evolved from Gods and Goddesses of the Celtic World and still have a powerful resonance in the modern world, especially for those of us with Celtic ancestry. 2. Amrita Hobbs WELCOME THE CRONE She is the ancient one who is bearing the fruit of her gathered wisdom. She is the grey haired one who senses the truth. She is the one who knows. She is the one who is not interested in what the world says because she listens to her heart. She is the one who turns off the electric light and looks through candle lit light into your very soul. She is the one who does not take up much space, because she holds everything in sacred space. She is the potential of everyone woman – she is you! This is a journey for women of all ages. For the women whose crone is already crowning, ready to birth, and she is the unripened fruit of the maiden. She is the one we journey towards at all stages of our life. 3. Elizabeth Jane Lotscher ‘RECLAIMING LOVE ~ BELOVED & MOTHER’~ Wisdom whispers from the Black Madonnas When we lost the goddess in the gospels, the Magdalene, we lost the western archetypes of Sacred Sexuality, Beloved Partner and The Spiritual Path of Motherhood. Join with us as we get our juice back, remember our inner blueprint for Divine Partnership and celebrate our walk as a Perfectly~Imperfect Mother. 4.
